Dave was just looking at all your pictures, he says the man standing next to your grandfather is Arthur Asland, your grandfather's brother. Your grandfather changed his name to Anderson. It was nice for him to see them, maybe one day you could make copies for him. Wait...what kind of Norwegian name is Cheryl? I didn't know you have a cousin with the same name.
Yes we have a cousin Cheryl, she lives in CA, she is distant cousin on dad's side. I can't remember the relation, my dad's sister had like 7 siblings and there are cousins all over the place even though he was an only child. I thought that was Arthur but I wasn't sure. Just think you could have received the last name Aasland, now you know why he changed it?
Well, I wasn't going to say it, but Dave told me it was because he didn't want to be known as Assland..here's the interesting part~you have relatives that lived in New Jersey, and I have relatives from New Jersey, and yes I was born in NJ...so bottom line, we are all probably related...t
Well hello cousin aunty grandma Krissy, you shore do have a pretty mouth!! And I have no idea where that t came from in my post....except I was looking through all my old pictures today and got a little bit sad, I miss my babies tonight.
My mother has a nice hairdue, she looks about 12, I wasn't even thought of yet. I don't know who is with Dad and Grandpa, maybe David does.
I love seeing your old pictures, Dave looks more like your Dad the older he gets...I think anyway..
