But mostly sleeps.He isn't any better today, the vets were closed yesterday so I am going to call at 9 when they open to see when I can get him in there. I feel so bad for him. I am also going to ask my vet what is the deal with Sunday's etc. where am I supposed to go? I changed vets a couple years ago because the old one was charging me outrageous prices, this one is good but I have never had any problems on the weekends before
poor critter - I hope the vet finds the problem quickly.
ReplyDeleteI bet he's got an infection brewing in that foot...there is an emergency clinic in Hartford, that's where we brought Mojo at 3:00 in the morning..but talk about outrageously expensive!! And they took my driver's license and wouldn't return it until they had a check in hand. They also did a terrible job with him...they snapped about half of the quills off in his face, then had to root around and dig them out. I go to Salmon Brook now, they are expensive, but they are there on the weekends. Sounds like Jethro needs antibiotic, and the foot flushed out...I betcha it's an abscess.
ReplyDeleteI have an appointment at 5:20 today to take him in. I am skipping my blood donation at 5:oopm today to take care of him, I had to work today so I could not take time off to get him there, my mom offered but she checked on him and he is sleeping upstairs and not moving around, since he can't. I also have a land trust meeting and I have to get those signs done, I have two to do, I just don't have enough time today to do everything I need to , then the school nurse calls and says Corey fell off his bike on the way to school and has a goose egg on his forehead and she had to yell at me for him not wearing a helmet, I am stubborn and so is my kid, I never wore helmets and I don't make him, so I am a horrible mother.
