We started a land trust in Hartland, all the other towns around us have one, they purchase or get land donated to try and save open space. You can donate your land and still have life use of it too if you want, all tax deductible. Since we are new, we don't have our tax filing done yet but we are trying to get memberships, etc. I am trying to save the world, or Hartland any how!!
You are so awesome, I could hug you right now.....you need to check out that property at the very end of our dead end...maybe he could be persuaded to donate that land to the trust.
Thanks Cheryl, I missed the meeting.... Bad citizenship.. I was busy taking care of Jethro. I dropped him off at the vets, the left message, he has multiple fractures of his foot, takes 4-6 weeks to recover he has a splint, I can pick him up tomorrow. I wonder what the heck happened to him?
Fractures!! Well, it's possible that he tangled with the coon..if there are bite marks it's possible that the coon could have broken bones...but it sounds more like he could have been run over by a car or a bicycle, is your evil neighbor still over there? Poor Jethro, he's such a sweet cat. Are you keeping him inside for a few days...yes that means a litter box, but he might be better off safe indoors for awhile. Or put a litter box in your garage, and keep the door shut. If you need me to check on him during the day let me know. It's no problem to shoot over there and peek in on him.
He's still at the vet I had to leave him there. Boo Hoo, thanks for the offer, when I get him home, I will let you know what kind of care he needs, he will probably need some kind of help while I am at work
