If you can see the little red bug here, they eat this plant that gets a big orange flower on it, the first year I had it nothing like this happened, now they (the bugs) and there are a lot of them, eat the whole plant, how come? and how do I get rid of them, after they eat the leaves, they make some sort of slimy mud around their bodies
I would hit the plant with an insecticidal soap. Less harsh on the environment, but not so easy on the bugs. That looks like a lily.
ReplyDeleteI heard soapy water works? Yes you are right it is a nice orange lily but those bugs killed in the last couple years before it got to flower, it gets over 6 feet tall, I took it home from NY, oh any by the way there were like 6 lupins left up there in the garden, I didn't dig them up because they just bloomed but I'll get them in a couple weeks and bring home to replant
ReplyDeleteDo either of you guys know what kind of bug that is?
