Poor Tasha

She was killed yesterday morning, they think Coyote's got her, the other dog JR got attacked too but he made it, he had to spend the night at the vet. Tasha was one of the nicest dogs you ever met. No matter who you were, she was always happy to see you and would jump up on your lap and give you a hug.

Me & Ray

Carmen, Me and Sarah (Nick's girlfriend)

Indian Lake again

Ray and our friend Jeremiah, he lives in Manhattan and comes up to Speculator on the weekends to his families camp, this was his first time riding, he did a great job and Had a blast!

A new sign on the trail.... good to know!!

We heard the fire siren going off and my nephew said a snowmobile had caught on fire at the gas station which is right by our house

So they came to the rescue

And this is what was left of it! Hope he had insurance!!

Here are more pics from my drive to work

This is a restaraunt called Plan B, for ever it was called One Way Fare, because..... it was the train station for Simsbury CT

I come down this big hill every morning and this is my view of the Farmington Valley, I am not sure how to add arrows so my office is smack dab in the middle

I love this tree, it was covered in snow the other day and looked nice

These are old tobacco barns, Simsbury was big into growing tobacco way back when.

Our town....blink and you miss it.

Our only place of business left in town and they aren't doing too well either. Cheryl and Maureen have both worked here, Those were the days huh girls!!

We have 3 Churches, this is the center Congregational, There is another in West Hartland and then we have a Lutheran down the road by my house (I grew up going in the Lutheran Church)

This is our little post office in East Hartland. They closed the West Hartland PO and now they have to go to Riverton, CT to get mail or have street delivery

This is our new million dollar town hall. I am not sure how much it ended up costing. They built this a few years back with big arguments from the town folk, it was a lot of money for a small town AND they had to build the new one around the old one because of the fire proof vault that kept all the important records

This is our firehouse, all volunteer, and they are great people for helping us out for fires and emergencies

And here we have our school, it is Kindergarten to 8th grade, approximately 275 kids I guess now. This was another costly item for our town but we won a Blue Ribbon Award a while back

It's nice to go there and you know practically all the teachers, kids and parents

Invisable Visitors....

I have not seen who came to the feeders but I am guessing, a rabbit, red squirrel, grey squirrel and the ground feeding birds

Like this Blue Jay, I had 5 at one time this morning

Hide and seek....

I picked up a cat teaser yesterday, the birds haven't gotten the word about it yet but Jethro is waiting....
