Trying out my new lens. Nature shots from today

Harley

He Loves to rub his face on sticks

New Zoom lens

The first picture is not zoomed in at all, the second is zoomed in as far as I can, I got a 300mm for $100 at a camera store going out of business. Today Ray got me another 600mm x 1000 mm but I need a connector for the camera before I can use it. What do you think?

Looking for foxes

This car has been in the woods for as long as I can remember, so lets say 40+ years!

Oh look here are two fine looking foxes in the woods,(my Mom and niece KC) oops, those are not the foxes we were after!! We did see a fox, but now I know why they say "sneaky like a fox" We heard them, stood still and saw a glimpse, like a ghost and then they disappeared, kind of weird knowing they were watching us looking for them

When we were kids we had a trail here behind my moms house and it was well used. Now it's a bit over grown but it's funny I can still remember were it was and the land marks that were there

Like this big rock

This little hidden patch of water was full of Frog eggs, can you see them?

Corey #58

The waiting area for the next racers

Getting ready to go

The gate goes down

They all scramble up the hill to try and get first and take a left, this is where they all get jumbled up and usually a pile up of crashes

Here he comes over the finish line. His first race he crashed twice and the second he got First Place!!!

Playing around

Fat Cat, his belly swings back and forth when he runs

Scardey Cat

The lawn turned green

Not sure what kind of tree this is, over at Jimmy's pond

This one either, Pussy Willow Tree? My camera was having a hard time focusing

This is what we call a Redneck fire hydrant. We don't have hydrants in town so they use ponds and call them dry hydrants, not too sure why, they are wet

Ray's grandson "fishing"

Meet the Mallards

They are not very neighborly, didn't even come over to say hello

Jimmy made a cool water fall (overlow) at the far end of his pond

Coreyos'

Off to school on this nice sunny day! Yesterday he had a project at school, they had to make thier own cereal and design a box, he named his Coreyos'

Look what I ran into...

This is where I went driving a week or so ago in Barkhamsted, looking for moose, I found this guy instead today. I sat in my car and he wasn't bothered by me at all. I watched him for about 3 minutes, my camera was taking black pictures so when I got home I was happy to see I could lighten them up a bit, not perfect but at least you can see
