My first finished rug hook. I bought this kit about nine months ago and went all crazy to start it and then finishing it became a chore. I wanted to bring some handmade gifts to Norway so this is going overseas in a month to give to my relative Linda who is letting us stay in her house

Happy Birthday to Betty

Ray's mom turned 94 yesterday, I gave her this and we took her to dinner.  Most of these flowers are from my garden, I bought a bouquet at the grocery store and they were pathetic so I went out hunting in my own gardens to fill it in.

Remember your first summer love?

I certainly do.... that was one of my best summer memories. What happens as we get older? Summer,Christmas,vacations,etc, they just don't excite me as much like they did when I was a kid. Is it me? The people around me? Just a fact of getting older? I want it back and how do I get it?

I missed him but the kids in the neighborhood didn't!

I guess this big old bear went from house to house looking for food, he/she hit the jackpot at my house and stayed for a while.   A few of my facebook friends saw this bear and was getting posted all over facebook yesterday.
