I love these pictures. You mentioned elsewhere that you think the local flooding drove them out of their nests in the drainpipe ~~ I dearly hope there weren't eggs or chicks inthose nests ~~ what a tragedy that would be .....
I went back the next day, the water level was way down and one end of the underroad pipe was clear and the birds were all gone, well, gone from the guardrails, they were flying around. I hope there wasn't any nests and eggs in there too. very sad indeed
