He's a pretty good sized one! I would like to have seen that man's reaction if the bear charged at him. Do you think that's the one that was in your yard, or another untagged bear?
I wonder if this is the same bear that was at your workplace ... if it is a different bear, then possibly the rangers have dropped off too many bears for that area and they are having to spread out in search of food and/or territory.
These are great pictures - but please stay in your car - don't do as that foolish man in one of your pictures!
P.S. I feel another newspaper article in the making - get your photo to that reporter. Maybe start tracking sightings on a map .... Suggest to the rangers that they change to tags that are more highly visible - larger sizes and color coded.
