I just don't have the touch with roses. I love the floribundas but somehow I just don't do something right and they have never really flourished like these in your picture are doing.
I have a wild rose here that I found growing along the road ~~ a tough, long-caned one with huge thorns and white single 4-petaled flowers. It is doing great! It must be some kind of throw-back to an earlier form.
Looks pretty :) Ironically, mine aren't doing as well as they usually do this year.
