Does this hair make my foot look big???

I don't know if you can tell from the pictures but one foot is bigger than the other and swollen

Yep he must have stepped on a thorne or someone stepped on his foot because he won't even let me touch it, when he moves and has to put any pressure on it, he cries.

Watch it carefully, cats are very prone to getting abscesses due to other cat bites..and that can be a nasty infection!

I've been down the absces road before with Harley. I just went to try and evalute my little gay boy, he got all pissy with me, growled and hissed, The left back foot is the one that he won't let me touch, the one on the same side in the front looks like it has dried blood on it but that one does not hurt him, he must have gotten into a scrap last night with the guys in the neighborhood.

You might try getting him to stand in the tub with warm water...then try to get some sort of disinfectant on it..probably be quite the battle..as a last resort you can wrap him tightly in a towel with the one leg sticking out and soak it that way.

Oh wow - now that the pictures finally downloaded and the swelling is showing up ...

It could be a snake bite, a raccoon bite - something infectious or otherwise is setting in quickly - I know it's expensive to go to an animal clinic on Sunday but he needs some medical attention sooner than later ...

The other remote possibility is that a car drove over him or a garage door shut on his foot and squashed it ...

His front foot has some injury too, that 6th toe, whatever you call it, the toe that is on the leg part, it he has some dried blood on it and a little bit of pus or something. He is sleeping now but he doesn't move well. I will call the vets office and see what they say
