What a handsome Mr. Toad :)
He looks like a big one too.
He's cute!!! I wish we had frogs :(
I don't like frogs/toads, this is a toad, isn't it? He is like a sloth but he sure got under the fridge fast when I tried to catch him. He isn't that big, well what do you consider big? Just come get him would ya????
(( chuckle )) Has Cheryl come to the rescue yet????
If not, get a small box or plastic container of some kind. Put it over the toad. Then slide a piece of thin sturdy cardboard gently under the box, holding the toad inside. Carry cardboard and box outside to a safe spot in some bushes and let him go ..... you can do it - I know you can!!!!
I tried to catch him that one time, haven't seen him since. If he comes around, I will try your trick Biddie!!!
Hi !! I can guarantee this technique - I've used it for years on bees, wasps, grasshoppers, toads, cameleons, whatever managed to get into the house...
Another trick: Toads are nocturnal. Leave a little light on - normally, they will come out at night to sit near lights, waiting for bugs to come near. This will be the best time to tempt him out of his daytime hidey-hole.
