Thanks Lori & Cheryl!!!

I really appreciate all the plants both of you gave me! I got all of them planted except two of Lori's that need to be in the sun. The rest went in my shady garden. It was nice to finally meet Lori and yes you too Herb. Thanks again, it was fun, another learning experience and I had a great time!!! Thanks to brother Dave for driving us there too!

It was a fun afternoon :)

I got everything planted except the winter creeper bush. It was such a perfect evening with the breezes keeping the mayflies away I decided to "Get 'er done".

I didn't get any pictures yet though, and this morning I'm bringing Boo in to the vet for a follow up visit, so pictures will have to wait.

Wow, I guess you didn't waste any time planting yesterday! I'm happy to give plants away rather than toss in the trash. I hope they will survive the different climate! Enjoy.

Thank you once again for my birdhouse. I will paint it up and put it in the garden once when it's finished.

I can tell where you put all the new plants from Lori by the darker color of the freshly turned soil - what a job to get them all in so quickly!

I'm curious to how different the climates are from Lori's area to your area .... what makes the difference - I thought that you all were relatively close to each other.

I don't know, I thought we were the same too, it may be a bit warmer where Lori lives from here up on top of old Smokey!

I was sort of joking about the climate change. I think where I live it is a bit warmer and my winters aren't as bad as the hill towns.

I don't make any promises but I will try to take pictures of the garden transformation. Unfortunately when they are to start I have a couple of doctors appointments to go to so I won't be around. Maybe I can talk my sister, the photographer, into taking pictures for me. She's much better at doing it and enjoys it much more than I do.
