Old Wethersfield, CT
I spent my day in a really boring insurance class, after I got out, I drove down to Old Wethersfield, I have been meaning to bring my camera for these old houses for a long time now, I finally remembered to do that. Sorry for the blurs and crooked looks but I was driving and cars were not happy about me stopping so much!!

What fabulous old houses!! They are huge. I bet the taxes are awfully high on them ....
You did really good with the pictures - your driving at the same time you were taking them didn't mess them up at all.
These old houses sure have a lot of character to them. Nice shots :)
What a feast for the eyes. I wish I'd been there. Reminds me of that street in Litchfield with similar old houses. We walked down it after the concert last year, the day you and Cheryl met up with Mary and me.
You do very well with drive-by picture taking.
They are really neat old houses down there. I have gone out for lunch while I am at class before and driven around there. It is an hour drive in the AM to get to class so I don't go very often, I have to take about 6 classes there every 2 years time. I did stop to take the pictures and most of the time I wasn't using the view finder, just going by eye, there were a whole lot more than I took too and there were side streets with more..
Thanks for posting these. I'm still enjoying looking at each old house in detail.
Is this the one that's for sale?

437,000 sounds low.
I meant 440,000.(249 Main St.)
yes that looks like the same house Priscilla. I wish I could pick it up and move it to my town!
Bet it needs a lot of work.
