That IS a big squirrel!! At first I thought it might be a fox squirrel, the largest of the squirrels but the field ID book indicates that they aren't known to be that far north. It might be a black phase of the grey squirrel - the ID book states that they are somewhat common in the North.
Great pictures!!
I think he was working as a chimney sweep and came to you seeking more business.
I watched the MS show yesterday. Didn't see you! Lots of interesting information, although I don't think I will be making my own lip gloss any time soon. The info on kinds of plastic was good. They should have showed more of the audience.
I ended up figuring out how to record the show from my office on line, because I forgot to record before I left for work, so I watched too and no I was no where to be found. It was a fun experience but next time I think I will try letterman or something else.
I would rather pay $2.99 for lipgloss than do all that work they were doing. Wasnt that girl funny when she said, you were taking too long to Martha?
Yesterday afternoon there was a huge Th&L storm that came through and I was unplugged for the duration - I forgot all about it ...
I agree about the lip gloss - If I were so inclined to wear it, I'd purchase some rather than make it - just check for non-toxic coloring.
He's pretty handsome and is obviously eating well.
Love those black squirrels, they are quite dashing looking I think. I've seen them in the Hollow, but not yet over here at my house.
