Windy here today
When I left for work, this branch was the only one down, it smashed some of my plants and made me mad
then we came home to this mess, after the December storm we had last year this hardly compares but still needs to be cleaned up and 1/2 of the biggest branch is over in the neighbors house, good thing it didn't hit it

Wow, maybe you had a little twister. It was windy here but not like that.
So sorry that your plants got messed up - hopefully, they will be able to come back. That was a huge branch. Thank goodness it didn't hit either of your houses. Is this the neighbor that gives you so many problems?
I don't think I lost any plants forever but a couple are smashed for this year including a dark red lilly that I have been babying because of those darn red beetles that Cheryl and I get . Oh well, next year.
Yes it is the neighbor I don't care much for, can you tell by the siding on the house? They have this big darker green patch that must have been a window they covered up. I must say, they keep thier lawn and yard very neat and clean and they will help us clean up this big tree too. I just hope I can get past her breath long enough to work with her. YUK
It was amazingly windy that day, I was out in the yard and when it would start to blow it sounded like a freight train roaring through the trees. It was nice though 'cause it would blow the black flies away.
Didn't lose any branches in my yard, but half of a huge old tree came down across my neighbors' driveway.
