Beantown
This is my mom
My two sisters
My cousin Wendy, 4th from the right, we went to Boston today for her mothers funeral
Paul Revere is buried here
This was on the way home in MA, I just thought it was fun
My Dad's first cousin's wife died which is why we went to Boston for a funeral. It's about a 2 hour ride from home so my sisters and my Mom all went today. It was sad but fun during the service. There were friends and family sharing memories and we laughed and cried. Do you ever wonder what people will say about you after you are gone, ie at your funeral service? I was kind of sad that I didn't get to know her as well as I should have. I spent a lot of time with the family when I was younger but not at all as an adult. My father always talked on the phone or they would visit with each other quite often as he did with a lot of our relatives. We don't do that any more... no time... no desire.... too much to do...... etc. We need to make the time before we won't be able to any more.
Barns & old buildings in Simsbury CT
Yesterday at lunch, it was 58 degrees so I took a short drive around to try and get some pictures of old barns and historical buildings in the town that I work in. The top picture of Welden Hardware sign is my favorite. I pass this Every day and I wonder who designed and put it up there. Do you think it's really that old??

Snow driving
It was slow but the other day, I got stuck behind a snowplow, so since I was going about 25 I took my camera out for you folks in CA and FL that don't get to drive in this mess much!! (Biddie, Denise and Madeleine)

Valentines Day
We went to NY this weekend to snowmobile, this is Teri and myself standing on the lake
This is a big ditch we all drove over going about 30 MPH, not what you should do......
Because when I hit it, I crashed my head on the windshield and broke it.... ouch, a piece of plastic went up under my helmet and jabbed me in the cheek. I could have poked my eye out!!
My nephew saw what I did and slammed on the brakes, almost didn't make it!
But all is well, no one really got hurt.
