Punchrug

I started a new hobby, it's called Punch Rug, much like punch needle but bigger and you use yard not floss for crossstich and it goes much faster. I still have to put a border around the edge and make this into something but I am not sure what, a pillow, wall hanging? any ideas?

Missy the kitty

My boss' mom had to go to the hospital and surgery and then recovery for a while and she needed someone to take her cat, Missy. They rescued her from a cat place near by and she came declawed so she can't or shouldn't go outside so I couldn't take her (plus Ray would kill me) My sister Barb said she would take her in so I drove her over there the other day, she sat on my lap for the entire 20 minute ride (no carrier, not my fault)

My sister lives on a goat farm along with these Donkey's they are hand raised milking goats

It must have been dinner time because normally there are like 50 that come running out to see what you are doing

They didn't want anything to do with me this visit. I'll have to go back again and get some better pictures with my big camera, I only had my purse travelling camera

Isn't it funny how they bend down on the front knees?

More snow from last week

This is my road on the left, I used to live on the road right after but I moved really far away across the street from my parents! This tree has been here since I was little, we used to have lemonade stands here during the hot summer months!

This the road Maureen lives on which is on the way to my street

Connecticut and a bit of Massachusetts drive today

We live on top of a mountain in CT that over looks the valley we call Granby, CT and Southwick, MA. This is the view from Mary Edwards property that was donated to the Granby Land Trust and has hiking trails and these views ...http://www.granbylandtrust.org/letterbox.htm

This is a field in Granville, MA, not sure who owns it or if this wheel house really works or is just for show, it's been there for as long as I can remember

I love barns.... Would live in one if I could.... Maybe some Donkey's too

A canopy of color driving around this weekend

Now I couldn't go out and not take a picture of my favorite pond...

Not much left in the gardens

These Dahlia's are the last of the bulbs to keep hanging on from the bag of them I got at Costco

The Bumble bee's are happy the Asters are still here

This is the windchime Cheryl gave me a few years back that sings in the wind

Seedums have turned a nice dark burgundy color

A cluster of Asters that I had no idea I had!
They popped up in the shady garden this year

Ray's new way to clean the gutters, after years of pulling the leaves out with his hands, he figured out the leaf blower works much better and faster

A happy Ray when the job is done in 5 minutes rather than 5 hours!

It's Friday

I don't have any pictures since I am at work but I guess I have not posted anything in a while either, sorry Cheryl, here I am wondering where you are and I have been missing too!
I'm hoping tomorrow weather is better and wanted to go take some fall pictures, the leaves are now in the peak for our area and will be falling to the ground so I better hurry, Sunday is supposed to be cold and I heard snow, please someone tell me that is not true!!!
