Update on basement

Wow what have I started??? I mustered up enough energy this afternoon to move EVERYTHING from one side to the other, we went to Lowe's and got floor epoxy paint and cement filler for the holes in the walls. I filled in the holes and just finished vacumming the floors, spider webs, dust rats, etc, Yes rats, the dust was so big it looked like dirty rats not cute little bunnies.
How did we get so much JUNK? I have so far in two weeks, filled up 3 garbage barrels twice for Sat. delivery to the dump.

Here is an update at the homestead

I saved these Geraniums from the potted plants, I am hoping to keep in the basement until next year
Ray got a new truck and sold his old one to my nephew, he had that old one for 10 Years, thats a record I think. This new one smells so nice and rides like a Cadillac, ... well sort of

My basement project......

I moved a whole lot of stuff so I can paint the floors and walls to make it not so much a dungeon

We've Got Wood!!!

Yesterday we got our winter delivery of 3 cords, He came over with a dump truck backed up, tipped it over, took his money and said have a nice day. Now we have a lot of work to do but Ray wants it to sit out in the sun to dry out for a while since we don't look like we are getting rain anytime soon.
As I was attempting to clean up my gardens, I realized the now deceased flowers I had have turned to millions of seeds so I saved them. This made me think I should grow my own flowers, yup I have no idea how but how hard can it be?? I looked up small greenhouses on the internet and the range from $500 on up to $100's of thousands. I requested a $695 model from Ray for Christmas. He thought that was a strange request but said he would think about it.

I checked with my good friend Artie Emmons about how do you do this planting of your own seeds. He told me that some plants like Petunia's seeds, need to be kept in a brown paper bag and in the Fridge all winter and then you start the little seeds in March. SO I put my seeds in brown paper bags and in the fridge.... Oh one more thing not all seeds need to be in the cold but if some do and some don't , it will help the ones that need it and not harm the ones that don't. So it is safe to put all your seeds in the fridge.

Now who wants Frog Legs??

Whoah!!! You old lizard, where's your other hand!!

How many drinks did I have???? You sure looked better before I jumped up on your lap! And you teased me with a milkbone but it wasn't really a milkbone now was it?

He's up and walking way better now

Update on Kitty

Sorry no pictures, I was late this morning but Harley is eating and sleeping mostly and walking better. Still not great but he gets around. He seems to have no energy but still finds it in him to purr and give me some lovin. I have to give him two prednizone (sp) twice a day, good thing they are small, he does not like me stuffing them down his throat. I'll try and get some pictures up later when I get home

Today is Corey's 12th Birthday!!!!

I have been so busy I forgot to tell you all. Don't worry he reminded me a couple of hundred times already today and we are going shopping right after work so he can get what "he" wants within reason of course!!! This is the only younger picture I had with me at work I wanted to put up his baby picture

Harley not doing very good

He loves to be pet and sit on your lap as usual but he can't walk, he gets up to try and falls over like a drunken sailor. There is one mark above his right eye which makes me think something happened to his head
