365 x 2 equals....

A lot of contacts. I had my annual eye exam last week, I changed from the every two week contacts to daily changers. So to get the $85 rebate, I had to open all the boxes on the right to cut off the bar code, then having no place to store them, an old shoe box came in handy.

The Lynches Finches again

I got his at Lowes a while ago

Picked this one up today in the sale rack at Lowes, $10 bucks I think I paid for a cedar house! I couldn't make it cheaper than that

I am trying my best to get new birds in our yard, Bluebirds, Hummingbirds, Oriole's, Purple Martin (waiting for the pole to be delivered, I got the house already) This orange feeder is for orioles, the wood feeder is the one I put the roof on backwards, I fixed it and hung up again, now I have to go get some meal worms, the Cedar house is for blue birds. I know my houses are going up a bit late, I may not get any thing this year but maybe the scouts will come here next spring

Painting the NY house.

We went to NY Friday afternoon, got up Saturday and went to the hardware store to get paint, brushes, etc etc etc. $150 later, we came home and my friend Teri helped me get these two rooms painted. These were the last of the rooms with dark paneling and it was like a dungeon in there. I am SO happy now, the rooms are bright and cheery. This house is old but now it feels so much neater and cleaner with bright white walls.

Blooming updates...

A pink Lupine. When I left for Ny Friday, this wasn't even pink, now there are about 5 more getting ready open too

Not sure what this is or when/where I got it, It could be from last year

This is from the magazine order I placed from Bluestone Perenialls

I went for a drive...

I was heading out to Dave and Cheryl's and took a turn down Milo Coe Road, which lead me to a dirt road that ended in Granville MA. I pulled over a few times and took some pictures but cars went by every once in a while and I just felt as if someone could do something to me and I would never be found again so I decided next time, I need to bring a friend so we can get some better pictures and explore more. You up for it Cheryl?
