Engagement picture practice

These are our friends, Jay and Tara, getting married this October 13, 2013. I offered to take their save the date pictures so I can practice and they can save money. I am not sure what a professional charges and I told them by no means would I be offended if they didn't like my pictures. I took about 300 in three different locations. I wasn't getting a squeeling happy scream over any of them until we got to the one with his leg lifted against the barn, she LOVED it, so that's the one! Makes me happy to help and see a bride smile.

Rocky

This fellow must have been living under our shed like they usually do. Ray went out to start our motorcycles which are stored for winter I the shed. A few hours later I noticed something was moving about 60 feet up I the tree. He must have been scared by the noise and took off running. I went out later and saw fresh tracks from the shed to the tree. Came down eventually and wandered around a bit, climbed up a few more trees, ate some bird seed under y feeder, washed up in a puddle and I never saw him again

Sunday drive

I took a ride looking for my favorite subject, barns. I found a few that I liked and had not seen before but I was kind of upset to see my favorite one in Hartland at my friend Junes house. The roof is damaged where a big tree was growing up in it. I've attached a picture from summer so you can see what it looked like before

My new (old) granny cupboard

Our house used to be my granny and grampa s house. I lived across the street with my parents And I was here quite often. My grandparents sold it and moved in with my aunt, the guy that bought it gutted the house and it's not a anything like it used to be, except the dining room is in the exact same place. She used to have 2 cupboards in the dining room which are long gone. A friend of mine was updating his daughters house and tore out this cabinet to be thrown out. He gave to me and I couldn't have been happier. I painted it and had to replace some glass on the top ( the top is not installed yet) door. We bought new hinges and knobs to be installed soon but these pictures show the transformation so far
