Snow driving

It was slow but the other day, I got stuck behind a snowplow, so since I was going about 25 I took my camera out for you folks in CA and FL that don't get to drive in this mess much!! (Biddie, Denise and Madeleine)

Oh, Kristen - what a slice of northern winter daily life! Your little video was fascinating - with the traffic report and a little bit of music from the Phantom of the Opera in the background to emphasize the whole scene!!!! Wow, I could feel myself getting tense with the idea of driving on slippery, icy mountain roads - it felt like you were zipping along at 45 or 50 mph! Did you have chains on the tires?

I haven't lived in the north since 1971 - what a jolting reminder of winter survival ....

Hey, that was an interesting clip, with the hectic news and worries of civilization juxtaposed with the quiet beauty of the winter countryside.

B, chains went out with the hula hoop!

Yes there are no chains on my tires, that would really qualify me as a redneck!!!
I didn't realize I shut it off while Phantom of the Opera was on, I should have left that playing, it sounded pretty cool didn't it!
I was only going 25-30 because that snowplow was in front, there was about 15 cars behind me too, that is a record for going to Hartland!

Wow...I wish we could drive in that. Even if it was just for 5 minutes.
