I like it, especially in the first picture, it looks spicier orange than in the second. It does give the room a very warm feel, and once you get all your decorations back up it will look great behind them.
Are you going to stencil on it? Your vines were really nice.
I like it too. I also agree that the first one is best!
I took the pics with my cheaper camera, I'll get some better ones later and the sun/light this morning was reflecting differently on each wall. Thanks though, I like it too, I just feel bad he doesn't LOVE it, it is weird though because Usually he loves everything I do, guess I misjudged this one, don't matter, it's staying!!!
People can have strong psychological responses to color. I like your choice but because it is dark, it makes the room look smaller and the natural light doesn't penetrate as much. But if you get your vines back up to help give texture to your space and do something about getting more light into the area to make it look more inviting (maybe a warm cream-colored table cloth and seat covers and white curtains) and some kind of interesting wall lamp near the table, he'll like it more.
oops - I just went back to look at your pictures again - the hanging lamp wasn't on in the after (orange) picture - it would make a big difference with it on ....
Did you get all your decorations back up? Pictures!!
I saw on Denise's blog you're starting seeds again, what are you growing?
