Snowed in.....

 Can you find mr. Junco?

This wren, I think is a carolina wren has been at my feeder all day, just a little while ago, it was just sitting on top like the hummingbirds do, just guarding it

I have 2 lazy cats today, we got about 4 inches of snow so they went out and did thier business and came in for a long day of snoozing- We really didn't get much snow, about 4 inches, down state got a foot I think.  Not sure why the mountain top isn't getting the snow any more lately but I kind of miss those big storms.  At least upstate NY is getting a lot, they had none and the local business was probably hurting pretty bad

Nice pics!
We have lots of juncos. Also lots of mourning doves. There's a red-breasted nuthatch this year, new to me.
We only got an inch or two of snow. Looks pretty on trees and shrubs while roads have melted clear.

What ever happened to your friend Cher-lee? Doesn't she like her friends any more?

HI Priscilla
I was just talking to Cheryl, she is sick with a cold and those critters are keeping her busy and Nik just came home from his army training weekend.

You and I are "it" lately I guess- So come back blogger friends!!!!

I have nut hatches but not sure if they are red breasted ones

Your nuthatch (5th pic down) is a white-breasted.

Sorry to hear about Cheryl.

Hallo dere both of you :) It's nice to be missed, thank you!

I envy you your sighting of the woodpecker, I'd love to photograph one of them. I've never seen one over here.

I had one of those little wrens hanging around last summer. It would perch in the shrubs by the front porch, and one rainy night it even roosted in the little porch that leads to the kennel. Such a cute little bird, and doesn't seem to fearful of people.

Nice pictures :)

I too love the picture of Harley, he is such a funny cat. I also think the little wren is a house wren, not a Carolina wren. I didn't know that pileated wood peckers hung around here in the winter, it's pretty cool to see one.

Just looked up the wrens and it is definitely a Carolina wren. You'd think it would rather be in the south though
