Well here we are again snowed in. I have missed 2 and 1/2 days from work this year already, thankfully my boss lets us stay home and not drive in the messy snow. The birds and squirrels are scurrying around to get all the food they can. The snow plow guys are very busy too.

Squirrel broke the branch my feeder was hanging on!
I only have 1 squirrel that I know of this year, since I got the umbrella thing over my feeder pole, I used to have about 10 and they were hoarding all the food! Jennifer you are in OH or PA? I think we are getting a lot this year but it was always like this when I was a kid, I guess as we get older it isn't as much fun!
Priscilla I think NY and lower states are getting more this year and we are up north!

As I sit here absorbing all your winter world, it occurs to me what a disaster from A-to-Z it would be if all that snow and cold happened in this area. I used to know a person at work (from the North) who declared that if he had a choice between hiring a Northerner or a Southerner, he would probably hire the Northerner because the Northerner would be more used to working harder just to survive the weather!!
