I changed my blog or tried to any how, back the it's orginal state because all the templates I put on over the years were getting all merged into each other and it looked like a mess to me.  Now I am getting this error while I am at work using work computer:

Your browser is no longer supported by Blogger. Some parts of Blogger will not work and you may experience problems.
If you are having problems, tryGoogle Chrome.

I don't want Google Chrome, it gave someone at the office bad stuff and caused all kinds of problems.  What is going on with Blogger here??

After signing in I see this message: "Blogger is getting a new look in April. Upgrade now." I don't intend to upgrade. I had Chrome briefly but got rid of it.

How frustrating! After I read your post, I jumped over to my blog, logged out and signed back in to see what messages I might get ~~ there wasn't anything different and no messages like Priscilla got.

I have the internet browser version 8. I have been curious about Google's Chrome but haven't downloaded it to try it because I'm still on a slow dialup connection and it would take forever to download it.

The only hint that I got when I signed in is possibly related to Google's purchase of Blogger months ago.

Google is consolidating its various products under a central sign in process. If you still sign in using the original Blogger sign in, you need to follow the link that shows up at sign in to initiate Google's central sign in process.

"To access your blogs, sign in with your Google Account.
The new Blogger requires a Google Account to access your blogs."

But this doesn't explain your template being messed up.

Additionally, there might have been some conflict between your third-party background template and Google.

Sorry, I know this is very vague .... but there isn't enough info to be more specific.

After you get it all straightened out, locate the EXPORT feature in the blogger tabs that allows you to save a backup copy of your template on your computer so that you can IMPORT it back if you need to recover. Every time you make changes, save another separate copy.

Sorry you've had so many problems Kristen! My husband switched all of our computers/laptops over to Google Chrome when it was first released back in 2008. I was not happy about it at first but have come to truly LOVE it! I don't have crashes and freezes all the time like I used to. And all these blogger problems that people have been having the past few years, especially last year... I never experience any of that! Blogger never gives me fits. I can make new posts, upload pictures in no time. I can comment on blogs when others can't. I seriously have not had a single web problem since Chrome and I will never go back to any of those others.

Just my .02 =]

It seems they warned us back on April 2 (see "Blogger Buzz"). I'm not clear on whether Chrome is required for the update.
