We had a windy night...

The nighbors tree fell in their own yard thank goodness, if it fell the other way, it would have landed on our shed. Last year in an ice storm it did drop some branches on our shed, no damage and they even came over our yard and cleaned up the mess.
After but the next day
Before
This is the front lawn, it started raining before he could get them scooped up so he had to leave it for today if it dries up a bit

!!!! Wow! We've had a few of those, and when I would walk to school, I would go through the forest, and branches would be falling. (chills)
That's so amazing, I wish we had high winds here!

Glad that the tree didn't crash your shed ....

I'm confused about your leaf pictures - are they taken of your yard? In what order? And are you referring to your hubby or your son raking them up??

I know - too many questions for a Monday morning ....

P.S. the carpet of leaves in the last picture is beautiful!! I tend to forget how all the trees seem to drop their leaves within a short span of time up in the north. Here, the leaves drop very slowly over a two or three month period.

THe clean part without any leaves is our BACK yard, the front is covered in leaves, he cleaned them up last night but I am sure when I get home, it will be a carpet of leaves again, No Ray picks them up,he has a thing that goes on his mower to scoop them up, Corey has never raked leaves and besides he had that injury so it would not have been for him to do any how. I used to rake, not any more, he has all these fun things to use so I "let " him have the job!
