Stroll around the yard this morning

Peony and an ant. I hate ants but they don't seem to do any damage to peonies

Last of the iris up in the shady part of the yard

I don't have much luck with these but I have this one open and a couple more buds

Roses are not my favorite flower in the garden. These came from ocean state cheap lot and are doing well except for the leaves getting lacy

Nice stand of Foxglove! I've never had such good luck with them, only blooms here and there. I also like your pink Clematis :)

Beautiful, pink and blue and pink and red. Isn't that a passion flower? or is it a clematis?

I think it is a clematis P. THanks Cheryl, I thought I had some hollyhock but it turned out to be foxglove.. I can't remember it coming up like this last year, I am so pleased with it!! I

Good Morning! I love the way the foxgloves stand up so tall - They look so elegant there in the midst of the other flowers.

Nice shot of the peony and the ant. Peonies have such rich color but they sure attract the ants!

The morning light when you took the pictures really is nice - I've noticed here that my pictures seem to do better earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon when the sun isn't so strong. Of course my camera doesn't automatically adjust for available light. I can remember my father with his light meter, measuring the light and then adjusting his camera - I always thought that it was so much trouble but in the pre-digital camera years, it was expensive wasting film so a light meter was necessary.
