Beautiful day in West Hartland

Vines growing out in the middle of the woods
Brett our tour guide of the doomed town of Hartland Hollow

Whats left of an old Silo

Caroline!  For being with a bunch of adults all day, she was such a trooper!

Two bus loads were taken on the tour, this was our group

The road leading into the Hollow
Perfect timing for a fall ride in the country

Dave and Cheryl  went along too, I had a great time!

Kristen - DOUBLE WOW!! what a wonderful day and such great pictures!! I was wondering where my daughter was yesterday - looks like you all had a fine adventure.

Those pictures look so much like the land in Nova Scotia that I almost bought.

Is this the town that was lost when the reservoir was built?

Yes that is the land that seperates East and West Hartland. I think it was in the 50's that they did the flooding of the town
We had fun, it was a long day but well worth it, you are now allowed to go down there otherwise you will get arrested!

Great pictures Kris. Thank you for sharing them. I can't wait to see Cheryl's. I had asked someone to take some with my camera, but they changed the setting and they are really grainy. Oh well, I guess I shoulda gone.
