Kitty Kats sure know how to find comfy spots, eh??

I see you are advancing on the punching - have you figured out how many thousands of "punches" it will take for the whole project yet ....

Yes cats like weird places thats for sure, paper bags, the sink, a pair of jeans that were thrown on the floor, your pillow, closet floors, backs of couches and most of all laps!

Biddie, this project is rug hooking, you pull the wool with a hook from the back to the front, rug punch is pushing the yarn from the front (which is actually the backside) to the other side you can't see which turns out to be the right side. Did that make any sense? I'll put up a picture of each side by side so you can see later tonight.

I have no idea how many times I have punched and hooked but it's a lot :)

oops!! sorry - I wasn't thinking when I used the word "punching". It was late and I was thinking more about closing the house down and going to bed. I do remember your previous discription about the differences between punching and hooking .....

Actually, if you want to take the time to take pictures of the 2 sides of both forms, it would be interesting to see.

P.S. Years ago, I did a lot of knitting - talk about the untold numbers of stitches required there to finish a project ....

I don't mind taking pictures of them both, they are very similar but still different. I have been knitting a lot lately too but only scarves, I am not sure how to do anything else, I would like to know how to make a hat. Maureen makes Caroline the cutest sweaters.
