Too much snow on the roof

Ray hired our landscaping buddy Steve and Zach to come shovel off our roof, they spent about 4 hours up there and then they had to clean it off our deck

Harley has taken a liking to this "coffee" table.  It's really an old trunk I got at a junk store but he seems to have taken over possession of it.  Last night he was annoyed that the clickers were touching his feet so he pushed them off to the floor

Changes over the years

The DMV let me keep 3 of my old licenses over the years, there are quite a few missing but these are what I have.  Now that I see them put together like this, I guess I don't really look 22 like I think I still am.  Oh Well, if I feel like it, who cares what I look like?

Snowed in AGAIN!

 

Well here we are again snowed in.  I have missed 2 and 1/2 days from work this year already, thankfully my boss lets us stay home and not drive in the messy snow.  The birds and squirrels are scurrying around to get all the food they can.  The snow plow guys are very busy too.

Snowed in again

Stayed home today, the 4 x 4 has some mechanical issues so my little car is parked in the garage and I stayed home, no need to go to work and risk having an accident.  I thought we had more than 14 inches but that's what the ruler is telling me.  It's still coming down hard though, I'll update later

 This wren, I think is a carolina wren has been at my feeder all day, just a little while ago, it was just sitting on top like the hummingbirds do, just guarding it

 
I have 2 lazy cats today, we got about 4 inches of snow so they went out and did thier business and came in for a long day of snoozing- We really didn't get much snow, about 4 inches, down state got a foot I think.  Not sure why the mountain top isn't getting the snow any more lately but I kind of miss those big storms.  At least upstate NY is getting a lot, they had none and the local business was probably hurting pretty bad

Happy New Year!!

 We went up to the NY house as a tradition of sorts.  Usually we have a whole slew of people but this year it was only 4 of us, Ray, Me, Phil and Lisa.  The boys cooked us dinner of tenderloins on the grill.  Last year we had a ton of snow, this year, a ton of mud!

 Phil cut his hair , you may recall last year he had a pony tail and long curly locks

 Lisa was sick, bless her heart, she came any how and managed to give me a smile with a little help from Phil

 Hmmm, what have we here?  A scowl?!?!?
