Its for sale. Too bad its not in my hometown. I have to see how much it costs when I go home.
It's Only $449,000 and vacant so I could probably get it for $400,000, whats the big deal! Here's some of the listing details

Looks haunted.
(( laughing )) It does look haunted
!!!
As interesting as it looks, it is more house than I'd have the interest to take care of -or- the finances to take care of - I bet the taxes alone would be easily a couple thousand bucks a year ....
I'd love the chance to study the old architectual details inside and out.
I took it behind the windshield of my car so I got a glare, the sun is actually shining today!! Couple thousand? Try probably 5 thousand. Our taxes on our house are almost 3 thousand and the town I work in, my boss' taxes are 12 thousand!!
Kristen - OMG!!!! I remember the taxes on my Mother's house in NJ being over $1000 back in approxiamately 1970 - I was shocked then!!
In contrast, my taxes on my house are scaled from $458 to $477 depending upon whether I pay in November or the following March or sometime in between.
The taxes on Possum Hollow are between $191 to $199, again depending upon when I pay them in the Nov-Mar time frame.
Granted, I live out in a rural county. If I lived in Panama City, They'd be a lot higher ....
What a difference in the taxing rates - I couldn't afford to live up there in CT.
I just read the new paragraph about the details - WOW - it is a gem!!! I can see why you would dream about it - I would too!!!
I tried to post the link to the listing but I can't for some reason, but if you go to Coldwell banker and search east granby ct. you will find it and you can see pictures of the inside. Its totally fabulous!!
Your taxes are so cheap, that wouldn't even buy me lunch for a year up here! Wow, thats amazing you pay so little. SOme houses up here in Simsury are over 20k a year!! My tiny house I rent out is 2400. my mom pays over 5
Five fireplaces? Oh, the squirrels would be so happy.
Looks interesting, though.
Maybe they'll have an Open House and you can walk through it.
