This is the first year I grew stargazers and they are so beautiful and perfume the whole garden!
Have you had a problem w/the lily leaf beetles on them? I've found one or two on mine, but fortunately they seem to prefer the Turk's Cap lilies.
Did you plant all these stargazers or did they spread by themselves? It must be nice to sit on your deck and be surrounded by their fragrance :)
I just realized this picture is fuzzy and it doesn't blow up bigger but the other one does.
I have seen a couple red beetles, mostly on my dark red lily that is already past, the white one had no beetles but there is a stargazer near that one that had a couple red beetles. I sprayed soapy water on them and they go away, they are quick to eat the leaves though thats for sure.
I love having the windows open and smelling them inside the house.
I can't remember where I got these but they seem to come back every year about the same size, not spreading much . Jennifer are your's already bloomed and past now? your stuff seems to come out faster than us. The smell is one of my favorites!
