I have to put stain on it, I got Onyx color to match the fish tank and my table

Upstate NY this weekend, they have a little bit of snow!!

Most roofs look like this and when the snow slides off, you better hope you are not anywhere near it! One of our friends car was crushed by snow, and when you are inside while is slides off, it sounds like an earthquake

We went to antique mall last Sunday in New Hartford CT, I picked up 2 little things

Hawks

It could be a Coopers Hawk or Sharp Shinned which is what this picture is

Another visitor to work today

I do not know who named this bird the red bellied woodpecker, it just does not make sense

A visitor came to work today

I keep calling this guy a hawk but I am not sure what he is. Sometimes you can hear him screetching from inside the office and I have seen him and more of his friends flying around the office. Elaine calls all of us over to her window today to "look at that bird". I just happen to have my camera in my bag of tricks today!

The new fish tank

I am changing to a new tank, no more salt water. It was nice and fun but not my cup of tea, I have managed to keep it clean and stuff, but I think I will do better with a tank like we have at work and a bigger tank. My buddy Charlie is going to build me a bead board stand for this that I can paint black and make it look a bit rough so it blends in better with my decor.

My Kitchen junk collection

Kevin is cleaning out his dads house, he gave me the Marlin Blades and the Fire ball. Strange things they came up with back in the day. A ball filled with some kind of liquid that you attached to the Christmas tree in case it caught fire, the ball would explode and put out the fire. There is a coupon inside the box offering $1000 if it does not work and your home is damaged. It was sold in 1952-53 and you must put in your claim during a certain time frame or you don't get your $1000

Kevin also gave me the Chickencock wisky, he got in in a box of bottles he got from some old guy

I got the scale from Ray's brother, Dave. Yes me and Ray both have brothers named Dave, it made it easy for us both to remember each others brothers names in the very beginning!!

I got the Edison record from an antique store we went to once. It still had the piano thing in there but it was broken to pieces

My Mom gave me the Macfarlane Buiscuit box she found it somewhere in the barn I guess

Well mostly, I have a few finishing touches and a couple coats of clear to do but I got all the white and black painted last night while I watched American Idol
