I came home to a nice surprise package on the counter waiting for me, I just couldn't wait until Christmas even though she wrapped it up for me and everything!! I envy the knitters, I have tried and I just don't get it, you have a great talent Priscilla, THANKS again

My drive to work this morning
Yes I took these as I was driving. I know probably not smart considering the roads were slippery but I had to go slow and it kind of kept me occupied rather than thinking I was going to slide all over, plus I had Rays truck, no worries!
Snow day kept me inside painting yesterday...
I cut this shelf out of some scrap wood to look like the one you can buy on line from Viking wood crafts, mine free, theirs probably $25, I have not checked but that's where the book tells you to buy the shelf
These are both from John Sliney books, he's my favorite! I hope the recipient likes him too.

Lots of Baby Molly Fish
I got some more plants and a fake Alligator scull, those alien looking things hanging there on the right are lights for the dark, little spot lights
Steve the fishman came over the other day and said I had a pregnant fish. What??? I said. So I got one of these little net hatch baby holders and put the mama fish in there, and lo and behold I woke up to a whole bunch of babies!!!

Cleanup....
Harley came out to watch, he was a little jittery, there is still ice on the tree's and when it falls, watch out, you can get hit in the head and yes it hurts, both Ray and I got hit, hard hats are required...
This side of the yard is going to take forever, but I think Ray may have hired some help to come today
My favorite tree was not able to be saved and as you can see it was rotten in the middle, I think it was about 25 years old and kind of in a wet part of the yard
He helped for about a total of 5 minutes, whats wrong with Teenagers today?

Phew, we finally got power...
This is June Shew's pond, I just love her property, Ray took me for a drive yesterday afternoon to look at the mess the storm did
This is our front yard, Ray said he was up all night listening to tree's falling, it sounded like someone was shooting guns off and then a huge crashing noise. I sleep with ear plugs due to his snoring, so I didn't hear a thing.

A new use for an old rolling pin
I have a magazine with the idea to paint an old rolling pin. I picked it up at a junk shop for about $4 and painted it tonight.
$23 to fill my car last night and I was darn near close to running out of gas when I got there
gas price was $1.58 at food bag if you paid cash, this is at Cumbies and the price is the same cash or credit
