Harley (orange) has ear mites, I have been treating them but he shakes his head like he has some alien living in his brain. I feel bad for him, he just looks so miserable.

Good Morning! I see you were busy last night - I'll have to scurry to catch up with all the news!
I'm envious of your cats curled up together like that - even if keeping warm on a cold winter day is their motive. My cats are all very much into their own space - even the grown up kittens - they will sleep next to the dogs, but not one of their own kind ....
One of my dogs - Boomers - has problems with a chronic ear infection - I feel bad for him - he constantly shakes his head like Harley - your description is right on - "shakes his head like some alien is living in his brain" ....
