This is a restaraunt called Plan B, for ever it was called One Way Fare, because..... it was the train station for Simsbury CT
I come down this big hill every morning and this is my view of the Farmington Valley, I am not sure how to add arrows so my office is smack dab in the middle
I love this tree, it was covered in snow the other day and looked nice
These are old tobacco barns, Simsbury was big into growing tobacco way back when.

You are very fortunate that your area hasn't been taken over by urban sprawl (yet - I hope not ever).

Well I wouldn't say that, I am much against it (sprawl) and get into some heated arguments with folks about that. Thats why I joined the 10 year planning and development ad hoc committee for our town and helped start our Land Trust. I 'll have to take some pics of the urban sprawl and show you that we do have it.
How about your area, do you have a lot of development?
Is the menu different at Plan B? New owners?
Even though I live up here I enjoy taking a tour with you lol.

I know you miss that 45 minute drive to work don't ya? It only takes me 20-25 minutes unless I get stuck behind a slowpoke.
Plan B is also in Hartford I think, they changed the menu, it's pretty good, some day you should come down here and we can go there after I get of work, they have really good burgers

Sorry it took me so long to get back to your question about urban sprawl in this area ....
Down at the coast, most of the land has been developed and there is a gradual push into the areas farther inland. I can see a lot of developments coming into my county, gradually moving northward. Not too happy about it. Even tho' it's a nuisance to drive so far for food, doctors, restaurants, whatever, I hate to see the wildlife being pressured for their natural habitats as a result of the growth.
