It's time for our annual work girls weekend and this year we picked the windy city. I brought my camera so I'll put up pictures when I get home. Have a nice weekend everybody!
Chicago?!? good grief Kristen! While it's a chance to see a city that you might not otherwise ever visit, I personally would rather have all that $$ that is allocated to your share of the expenses for the trip as a cash bonus .... sorry - don't mean to be a naysayer.....
Never been to Chicago except at the airport on the way to MN (never want to go to MN again by the way) Trying something new, I can't wait to see the lake, we are taking a boat ride and staying at a cool hotel. We have dinner reservations and paid for by the 2 guys in the office, breakfast is free at hotel so all we have to pay for is lunch. The whole trip cost us $500 and we save $10 a week all year to pay for it.
At least we are not going in Winter! Yikes, it's freezing there. Oprah lives there, so there must be something good about it!?!? Have you been there Biddie? My next trip is to Norway in June with my mother but I really really want to go to Texas and then Jackson Hole Wyoming is another place I can't wait to see and Ski!
I know you'll have a good time, Kristen. There's so much to see. I went to college just west of Chicago (Wheaton)and it was a treat to go into the city on the bus. Yes, in the winter you don't want to be there!

We had a great time. I am sitting on the plane now waiting to take off. This flight is overstuffed too. Ill be home at 8.
