Possibly phlox ~ but there is a weed that closely resembles phlox so I'm not sure.
A veronica? Evening primrose?
Thank you for the guesses. I will check them all out. I did have plant markers for all of them ,as the years go on, they get raked out or buried, I should have replaced them!
I think this one is phlox now that I looked it up.
If it is Phlox, a little trick I've learned is to top it off then it will grow bushier and postpone the blooming for flowers later in the season :)
