Fresh coat of stain

This was my Grandparents old summer cabin that they used way back in the 40's to come visit Hartland, there are quite a few little old cabins in our town actually, the city folk used to come here, not sure why, we have nothing but woods but I guess they didn't care, it was just nice to get away.  So my Dad ended up with this house and then I did, well I had to pay a price for it since my Ex husband made me pay him for it when we got divorced even though he never paid a dime for it, oh well, water under the bridge.  I have a new tenant, I call him tenant Dan, he is in the military and here for 3 years out of Westover Airforce base.  He seems really happy being tucked back in the woods and seems to have taken a liking to the place, he is doing a great job with yard work and even put up a bird feeder, I hadn't warned him of bears, I supposed I should, he is in prime bear territory down there.  So our handy painter Craig is putting new stain on this year, it was way over due.  I picked the red color along with a taupe trim, its not done yet but you can get the idea.

I saw you down there :), its funny, this place is midgit size and the guy that moved in is bigger than the jolly green giant! He seems to be really happy to help take care of the yard too. I can't wait to see it all done, it's been 12 years since it was stained last

It looks great! Looks like he will take care of it too. Good thing for when the cat ladies of Hartland move in. :)
