Sun is shining today!

These sunflowers started from birds spilling seeds so I left them there to see how they would grow

The shed garden is a bit lopsided, I should have looked at last years pictures before I yanked out what I thought was weeds, I think I pulled out a hollyhock on the right side from last year or when they say Bi-Annual, do they not even get leaves?

Cat Mint, boy does this smell. I gave a piece to my cat, he started to eat it but then he spit it out and walked away

Finch feeder is empty and full of holes

I only had the finch feeder and this cheap one on the pole, I found this over in the neighbors yard

It seems every day in CT they have on the news bears are being caught in the city and brough to the NW or NE corner of the state, That would be our town, a lot of the neighbors have been reported seeing one or sometimes two bears in the area, there is another rumor going around that there is a mom with 2 cubs, so no more bird seed and keep your garbage locked up and garage doors shut

Raining Again....

These three came from Bluestone Perennials and are growing enormous! I have now finally gotten the hummingbirds, they love the yellow and orange flowers

These roses came from one of those cheap dollar stores last year, they took off this year even better than last
The clematis is mixed up in there too

This is mostly what I ordered from Blue Stone Perennials and a few other things I threw in there from Meadowview. I am liking this garden so much, it seems everyday something new opens up

Ny weekend

It was very cloudy and we got rained on a few times but it was still a fun weekend with our friends

We stopped for lunch at a place on Cranberry Lake, I looked out and saw they had Purple Martins coming in and out of this house. I am putting up my house and hope I get them some day

Trying the macro setting

After we went to the photography speaker on Friday, I think we all got the itch to take better pictures. Today I played around with my macro setting but I still have to fool with the shutter speed etc.
