So I left them a welcome wagon gift of Harley hair last night all around the house and some on the roof, I hope they decide to stay.

Awesome!! I haven't spotted any nesting birds yet this year, but there is a flycatcher that shows up everyday atop the arbor, so maybe it has a nest nearby.
I thought it was a bit late in the season for birds to start picking out houses now but what do I know? I also didn't think Chickadee's used birdhouses. This isn't the first time I have seen them on this one house too, it's right next to the birdbath ( I had the Flicker in) so maybe that helps

Has the Flicker come back? They must really love the water :) When Nik was here we flushed out a pair of woodcocks at the edge of the yard in the woods, scared the dickens out of me :)
I also saw a Momma Turkey with little chicks walking in the back yesterday, they bolted as soon as I spotted them.
