Ye gods! you still have snow? We have brown lawns and sand in the road. I'm not sure which is worse.
I used to have a boyfriend that firmly declared the people that live in cold climates are stronger, heartier and healthier than folks, like me, that live in a warm climate.
I must concede that I think that he was right - you good northern folk certainly deserve a lot of credit for choosing to live there and choosing to stay there. I don't think that I would willingly move back north without some extreme provocation .....
Yes I took that last night on my way home. I see people cleaning up thier yards and I can't :(
Thanks Biddie, that is a nice way to describe us crazy northerners!!! We must be crazy to stay here, but there sure is a lot of us that continue to do it for some reason, summer is quite nice I suppose and we snowmobile and ski.
The town I work in has a LOT of snowbirds that go to Fl all winter and come back for summer here.
Our snow is finally all gone and the flowers are coming up- yay!
