When Brett was here with our first load of stuff he says he saw a moose just wandering the top of a little rise in the backyard along the tree line. Of course as soon as Caroline and I arrive at the new homestead, there's no moose...should I believe he saw one? ;-)

Ray saw moose a couple times too, He thought it was my sisters horses, I wonder if he needs glasses?

Oh, how fine - love da meese ....

I'll get myself together after today's NASCAR race and relate the tale of my "moose hunting" summer over on the Possum Hollow Chit-Chat blog.

You like Nascar??? Boy you and Ray would have a good time together, I think it is a good way to fall asleep and take a nice Sunday afternoon nap! He just went to Zippy's 40th birthday party in NC a couple weeks ago. Who's your favorite? Obviously Tony is in this house. Zippy and Ray have been friends for years, we went to his wedding and I sat next to Joe Gibbs ath the church but had no idea who he was.

Just made it back over here - race was frustrating for Tony Stuart - this is the second race in a row where a fluke kept him from winning or at least being in the top 10.

I don't know who Zippy is and I'm not sure who Joe Gibbs is but I've heard his name .....

But back to the moose --- your friend's daughter was really close for her pictures!! Did she tell you anything about what it did?

Good morning!!!

Zippy is Tony Stewarts Crew Chief and Joe Gibbs owns the car as well as the interstate battery car and the Reskins football team.

I have to get ready to leave for work now. Hope you all have a fine day. I'll stop and get a coffee at Chrissy's new business venture on my way to work.

I hope she does well there, she drove by twice already back home, I bet she forgot something, as with anything new that can happen, too bad cell phones don't work in these parts, she could call me to get things she may forget.

About the name "Zippy" - I had to chuckle about tangents from a point that the Universal Consciousness (and I'm not referring to God here) can go "zipping" off on ....

Late last night I was watching Dog - the Bounty Hunter on A&E (I enjoy watching this crazy dude and his family of bounty hunters). They are based in Hawaii. Their fugitive was reported to be at a restaurant complex called "Zippy's". They descended, en masse, running thru the parking lot and caught the guy as he was coming out the doors.

I wonder if the real Zippy knows about Zippy's.

P.S. Have a great Monday! Since you are an hour ahead of me, I figure that you are already into it - pencils flying .....
