Phew, I am so glad you all posted something, I almost removed it because I thought I offended someone, Oh Cherly, tee hee hee, I don't know who this woman is, I found her on the internet! It's one thing to be over weight, but this is a bit overboard don't you all think? It saddens me to see kids overweight, why are they not out playing and riding bikes?
How are your holidays coming along? Has it been snowing a lot?
It's been COLD here. I have most of my shopping done. I have a few get togethers coming up, and Madeleine's school boutique.
We also have a our "cookie nights" coming up. We do two things:
(1) Madeleine & I bake cookies for our neighbors - even the ones who bug us! :o) It's the time of the year, when we overlook everything and just wish everyone well.
(2) We bake "bahooramus" cookies. Ba-hoo-ramus comes from the song they sing in the Grinch cartoon. We sing it and compete to see who can fashion the oddest, Dr. Seuss-iest, looking cookie.

Hi Denise, We got a little bit of snow so far, the ground is covered enough to make it white here but lately all we get is ICE. makes for hard driving, no tires car drive on that stuff.. I have been making cookies too, intentions were to give some out this year, so I have been practicing (sp)different kinds. Your cookies sound fun and interesting! It's nice of you to be nice even to those that you would otherwise not, I agree with you there! I have been kind of ignoring this darn computer because I am sick of it and I have a cold AGAIN! Oh well, I'll try and get some pictures and stuff up soon! Have fun making Coookies!!
Hi everyone - glad to hear that cookies are in the making!! And, Denise, glad to hear that your family has apparently been missed by that 2nd round of the Santa Anna wildfires .....
For the last couple of days, the temp here has been in the 80's instead of the more normal 60's --and-- no rain .... more of the same expected tomorrow, then a forecast return to the more normal.
