This is the top of the dead tree that fell on my yard that the woodpeckers have been eating a feast out of last year

I made my own Suet, with Bacon fat and bird seeds, I poured into a plastic container, froze it and it fit right in the bird feeder. Finally I found something to do with my bacon fat

They certainly must have had some tasty treats to work it over like that.
I always feel bad about throwing out my collection of bacon fat every week - hadn't thought of making suet for the birds ...
Well aren't you a smarty pants! Although, just imagine what you'll be attracting to your yard...Lions, tigers & bears Oh my!!
Oh, that's too bad about the tree falling down, hopefully Woody will quickly find another close by.
Don't worry about the woodies,. there is still some more dead branches up there and the tree that fell is still 1/2 there, the top just fell off
