How cool! When is the concert? I'd love to see him live and hear him talk about his songs. He's such an amazing songwriter.

It was last night Denise and I got home after 12:30, I drove an hour to see him at our CT Casino, Mohegan Sun, he put on a total of 10 shows in June and July, I feel like a total slug right now writing this, I am so TIRED!
That was my 3rd time seeing him and the BEst one yet. I can not believe how he plays the piano. I took some video on my cell phone, If I can figure out how to get it on here I will today.
HI CHERLY

That old guy has called me three times now about the yorkie puppy! I guess he doesn't believe me when I tell him I DON'T HAVE A YORKIE PUPPY FOR SALE!!!!

Sheesh!

Kristen said...

Did you tell him it was a misprint?? Why does he want that darn puppy so bad any how?

Cheryl said...

Three more calls about the puppy...people argue with me when I tell them it's not us...I've emailed the person twice & no response.
What tha heck?

I called the Courant again, talked to someone else & they said it's a scam. You have to provide a valid name & telephone number to place an ad, but the scammers want you to go through the email address after trying the number.
I called that old guy back & told him that it was a scam & to not send them any money. I was worried about him as he was so determined to get that puppy. They took the ad off now. Weird, huh?

Kristen said...

well if the Courant knows these are scams, why do they allow the ads??? That would really piss me off because now you have emailed that person

Billy Joel, eh? Reminds me of years ago when I first got cable TV and spent hours watching MTV. Billy Joel was one of my favorites.

Everyone in awhile now, I'll watch a half hour of MTV - those videos have sure changed over the years.

Cheryl - sorry to hear that you have had that problem with the phone calls about the little dog - what a hassle - hope that old man didn't lose any money or hasn't lost a dog that he's trying to find .....

I called the old man back, he hadn't sent any money yet thankfully. I explained the scam to him, so hopefully he'll be more careful in the future. He was a sweet old guy, I felt bad for how vulnerable people like him get preyed upon by the bottomfeeders of society.
