The Sun's out today

I have been a bit lazy posting because of this almost 3 week old illness I have, after 2 weeks on Monday I finally went to the Dr, I have a sinus infection and they put me on antibiotics (sp). So needless to say I do feel better, I hardly have to blow my nose any more thank goodness because I was beginning to think it was going to fall off!

Now I have had a couple of the after affects of the amoxicillin (sp) but the one that is getting to me the most is the frequent trips to the potty, I think I can give Caroline a run for her money that last time she had the runny boom booms. OMG!!

So yesterday I had Friday off and it rained all day, yuk, Corey has been bugging me day after day for months to get a cell phone. Now what in the world does a 12 year old need a cell phone for I wonder? To keep up with the Jones's and look cool I suppose, I would have wanted one too if they had such a thing when I was 12. We ended up for $20 adding another phone line to our service and he got a phone, that I made him pay for, he saved up $90 in change and gave it to me to pay for his phone and I made him pay Ray the first $20 for the monthly fee. I bet he won't have money in the future but there will certainly be a chore or two he can do.

So here I sit Sat morning with a serious headache because I had wine with dinner last night at the Maine Fish house, oooh that was good food. I suppose it's time to get going, take a shower and finish cleaning the house and laundry. If I get ambitious today I'll try to take some pictures

I think you are wise in having Corey pay for his cell phone - so many young kids just don't appreciate their families' having to deal with the bills behind their phones.

On the other hand, I think an available cell phone is valuable for emergencies - that is basically why I have one, especially when I'm on the road or out on Possum Hollow. Then I discovered that it was cheaper to use the cell phone's long distance and drop the long distance on my land line. The hassle is remembering to keep the battery charged.

Glad to hear you are feeling better ...
