Just some yard stuff...

This guy was eating my butterfly bush, isn't he a bit early???

Can you see the teeny tomato???? These were some seeds I got free in the mail or something, who knew they would grow and actually produce a fruit?

My first try at Purple Coneflower

My newest graden area is getting a bit overgrown already, those Cleomes were started in March in the basement

Ocean state roses finally got some buds on them, I never thought I'd see the day

This should be a burgundy sunflower I started from seed

The Cleome from seeds I grew

How big is your Butterfly Bush? We have one, and we had to give it a big, long haircut because it was soooo big! We have caterpillars everywhere.... I catch them a lot sneaky around plants...

I have a little suculant/cactus collection in our backyard. I have this thing I named the "Hippo Plant", because it looks like a Hippo opening its mouth!

I've said it before but I really like the little setting that you created at the end of the shed! By the way, did you find out what was making a home under the shed?

My Butterfly bush is little, I have three or four actually, no flowers yet. One of them is big since I got it from a friend that had it growing in his yard for a few years

Last night I pushed the dirt back in the holes to see if the "thing" came back and it did, the dirt was pushed back out again, so they have made a home under there.

Have you had any blooms on your morning glory yet? Mine faded out...no luck with it this year. I haven't seen any monarch caterpillars yet...they are pretty aren't they?

Could it be any hotter today :P

I have not been outside since I got here at 8:30 am. Today is a day from HE double Hockey Sticks. I should have turned around and went back to bed. Slow drivers to work, computers down, I deleted microsoft outlook by mistake, I just got things running again 10 minutes ago.
Morning glories have some little buds, nothing flowered yet, the caterpillar is still there, eating the leaves, is that right?

I see. Our Butterfly Bush is I don't know how old, but it is something!

I hope your day has gotten better!

I like the garden scene by the shed. You've had a lot of luck with your seedlings!

RE: the butterfly bush.. I bought it as a 1 gal plant at the end of last summer. It literally grew 8 feet in one season.
