Critter Detective

I filled the hole in a couple days ago and it was dug out again, so last night I covered the entrance with flour hoping to get some feet prints as evidence so maybe I could figure out what it is. I may go to Walmart or Dicks and see about how much those motion camera's are

Did it eat the flour, or scatter it about? Have you looked under there with a flashlight? I'm going to have to come over & peek under your shed :)

Well I put down a good coating of it on both holes, it appears it scattered it, but hard to tell, go on over and see if you want, I am not sticking my head in there !!!

I have to run to town this morning...maybe I will. I was thinking I could stick my camera through the opening & take some flash shots...maybe we can see what it is that way without endangering my face :)

I got a camera coming from Ray's friend, I think it's old and uses film but I'll know more tomorrow!!!

I'm voting on a fox - there might be babies under there ....

No luck...Maureen went with me to watch the other hole. Unfortunately I couldn't get my arm in far enough (well, let me rephrase that ~ I wouldn't stick my arm in far enough), and the flash/focus wouldn't work.

We did see a rabbit hopping across the road from your side over to the other. When we pulled alongside of it, there was also another smaller rabbit. Maybe you have a family of rabbits living under there. Have you seen any bunny poop in your yard?

Between the mothballs & the skunky smell whew was it stinky by that hole!! Does the cleome have that strong of a skunky scent? I couldn't tell for sure because the mothball smell was so strong when I was kneeling by the hole~ I couldn't tell if the skunky smell was also coming from the hole.

Your yard looks beautiful by the way. You've really put a lot of work into it, and it shows.

Thanks Cherly for checking my critters. I have not seen a rabbit in or anywhere near my yard before, so that is weird. If it is rabbits, that would make sense as to why my kitties are not afraid of sitting in the driveway!
Thanks for the yard comment, I can't take credit for the grass and yes those cleome's do smell skunky and the moth flakes make you want to puke huh???
